Helping startups reach their potential

why we do it

We started this section as a part of our commitment to ‘continuous learning’ in partnership with SBA CANADA. The content forms an important part of the continuing professional development of their professional course offerings.

Our mandate is to review important books and articles from contemporary scholars (and others) who exhibit the kind of critical thinking that will stretch the capabilities of our professional members. In our view, these exceptional academics have bucked the trend towards a kind of unholy alliance between our universities and the regulated professions in Canada, each of whom inevitably serves their own self-interest.

Our hope is that we can encourage a re-imagining of adult education and replace the worn-out business models of post-secondary institutions in Canada, that no longer serve the interests of stakeholders.
